My Favs
Hello Everyone!
The title of this entry is simply: “My Favs.” Dangerously risky, interestingly engaging, yet exciting and who am I kidding? Well let’s just face it, simple! My title is in no way intended to make you think anything other than I want to tell you about my favs. “What favs?” you might ask. Clothing! Duh. It’s what I live for: Fashion, clothing, accessories… everything a girl needs to live. Drum roll please (bet you never read that line in a blog before *please note the sarcasm*)… without further adieu here they are:
Numero Uno:
VOLCOM LEATHER & LACE SHORT SLEEVE[Volcom Leather & Lace Short Sleeve Top]
This top is amazing. Period. Leather + Lace = Fashion Forward. Like that equation? I thought so. The flutter sleeves are very in right now and it gives it just the right amount of bohemian flare. It’s great for any time of year, but I must say it is exceptional during Fall. I am assuming it will be just as exceptional during Spring as well since the climate is almost the same. It can be dressy, it can be casual (which is a must for me) and as a proud owner of this little gem I must say I would recommend it be worn with a camisole underneath. Unless of course you are a brave young women seeking lots of attention, then by all means wear it solitary you little trendsetter you. For a more casual look pair this beauty with some skin tight dark wash leggings/jeggings (my personal fav) and a pair of ankle boots or flats. Or to dress it up a little, this top can be worn with a black knee length skirt and some clever fishnets or printed tights. The possibilities are endless! Next…

VOLCOM NOT SO CLASSIC TUNIC[Volcom Not So Classic Tunic]
I absolutely love loose fitting tops. LOVE. This tunic from Volcom is brilliantly made. Buttons down front and ties around the waist to synch in and create that hour glass figure we all desire. Pair this with leggings, jeggings, tights, whatever makes you happy really. It’s a standalone top. You don’t need anything fancy on the bottom. The good thing is, with a simple top like this you can pair it with wonderful accessories… Like a great purse or a cute jacket (if it’s chilly outside), maybe some chunky bracelets. You decide! This is a wardrobe staple you could wear five different ways, or more… Hmm maybe another blog on how many different ways you can wear this piece? Well, we’ll see. If you survive this article let me know and maybe I’ll do just that.
Now on to # 3:
VOLCOM NOT SO CLASSIC DOLMAN[Volcom Not So Classic Dolman]
Again: another loose fitting top. Yes, I absolutely adore you. Genius! A button down long sleeve dolman top. Oh how I love you, you versatile gem. You can be worn buttoned all the way up or half way unbuttoned, maybe even all the way unbuttoned if I’m feeling really rebellious (with a cami of course, I’ve never been that rebellious… well?… No, no I haven’t). Your sleeves can be pulled down or rolled up or scrunched as I like to call it. Pair you with a belt and magically I have created a beautifully shaped dressy top. You are casual chic. You are amazingly light and airy. Volcom Not So Classic Dolman… you give me wings. Sorry Red Bull. You just don’t have anything on this top. And if you were wondering, yes I do have convos with my clothing. We are very close.

METAL MULISHA NIX SIX TOP[Metal Mulisha Nix Six Top]
This long sleeve top makes me happy. The crisscross detailed back gives this top an edgier feminine feel. The edgy design is one of the reasons I love this top so much. Although the Metal Mulisha skulls aren’t usually my thing, the edgy yet feminine feel of their “maidens” clothing line is a definite plus! Definitely one of my favorite brands right now and the now “MM” ladies logo design was a smart move. I’m feeling the charcoal color too. Charcoal is in right now. How about you? Feelin’ Metal Mulisha?

BILLABONG MILES BOMBER JACKET[Billabong Miles Bomber Jacket]
This jacket is the bomb… get it? Bomber Jacket…bomb…funny…haha. OH NEVERMIND. But really, this jacket is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Everything from the ribbing details, exquisitely shaped collar and the faded black color screams “I’m stylish”. The best part? Pair this with a cute tee, some faded ripped up skinny jeans (or whatever you have) and a pair of combat boots (stylish ones of course) and you just put together the cutest/laziest outfit ever. No one will ever know it only took you five minutes to get ready. It’ll be our little secret. Just to let you know, I don’t keep secrets very well… Hehehehehehehehe. JK. Alright that’s enough. FOX RACING LIBERTINE JACKET[Fox Racing Libertine Jacket]
Guess what girls and boys (boys reading my article? I think not), guess who’s back in town? Denim that’s who! Yes blue jean jackets, dresses and anything else we can construct out of this miracle fabric. The Fox Libertine Jacket is just the ticket. Perfect wash. Perfect fit. Goes with just about anything. Casual, yet paired with a dress it’s instantly chic. I recommend this jacket for anyone with a fashion sense. There you go ladies. Get ‘em while they’re hot! On with the next one…

METAL MULISHA BAD ROMANCE PURSE[Metal Mulisha Bad Romance Purse]
Show of hands how many of you have had a “bad romance?” Ok now show of hands how many of you just started singing Bad Romance by Lady Gaga? Uhh Huhh. Worse shape than I thought. You need this purse. Yes you do. Take it. Really. It’s a great purse. Beautiful lace detailing and clutch style, just snaps close! Perfectly dressy. Definitely not what I expected from Metal Mulisha, but as previously stated I am really digging the women’s clothing and accessory line. This purse makes me feel… confident and feminine and would be the perfect offset for that miracle fabric jacket just above. You know you want to. But just in case, check this out:

FOX RACING DANCE HALL QUEEN BAG[Fox Racing Dance Hall Queen Bag]
One word: fire engine red purse. OK, so maybe that wasn’t one word. More like four words. I was hoping you didn’t catch that. This purse makes me want to run outside and do cart wheels. I haven’t done those in a while and might break something so I don’t think I will. But you get the picture. The grommet detailing on the bottom is genius. Not only functional, but very stylish. The feminine look roughed up a little. Perfect pick-me-upper. Promise. You gotta have this purse. Warning: Side effects may include sporadic cart wheeling, screaming, smiling till your face cracks, skipping, drama queen outbursts (can be treated with a snickers bar), spontaneous break dancing and quite possibly a boost in self confidence levels which may in turn lead to ruling the world and/or leading a feminist movement to ban men to Mars. This hasn’t been tested or proven. I promise I’m not weird. Oh my there’s more:

VOLCOM FROCHICKIE DRESS[Volcom Frochickie Dress]
The Volcom Frochickie Dress is my ultimate fav. Combining a still popular trend: animal print with a classic shape, this dress is perfect for just about anything. Just last night I paired it with black printed tights, knee high boots (ankle boots would have been fabulous) and a cute Fox peacoat. It comes with detachable straps so you can wear it strapless too if you want. It’s really perfect for any time of year. I hope animal print stays around a while because I really LOVE LOVE LOVE. Beware: pairing with red lipstick may cause extreme hotness also wearing this dress may bring out your inner leopard. Don’t blame me. I warned you.
